RACE 6: Using the closers, as there's a decent amount of speed signed on. Jo Jo Love (#3) didn't run all that badly in his dirt route try here last year. Toots (#4) closed for the place in his latest. Missile (#5) may appreciate the extra ground. Shawhan Select (#9) didn't get much pace help in that last sprint. Freight Forward (#11) makes his first start off the DiBona claim. Gold Close to Home (#12) was moving well late in that last one (6).
RACE 7: Heckuva Ride (#4) was 2nd last time and is a must-use. Color Fast (#6) was rallying well at the end of his debut. Saucy Sixer (#7) middle-moved in that same race. Uncle Otto (#8) improved in his 2nd start. Forever Fudge (#10) has decent works for his debut. Camp Party (#12) had trouble first time out. Porcini Prince (#13) will be dangerous if he gets in (7).
RACE 8: Kosmo's Buddy (#3) and Colony Club (#8) are a pair of proven turf sprinters coming out of a decent race at Laurel. She'sa Tough Tiger (#2) has to be respected off that Beyer she posted two back. Twiceasbeautiful (#6) has dangerous speed. Forever Grateful (#7) has faced much better in most of her turf tries (5).
RACE 9: Many Crows (#5) was caught up in a duel last time but is better when she's able to take back and make one run. Dalliance (#9) was a sharp winner when last seen, and this rise in class off the layoff is a positive sign (2).
RACE 10: Triple E (#6) has been racing on the dirt, and while he hasn't been running badly he's also proven on the turf. More importantly, he has a proven rating gear, and with a quick, contested pace likely he should fall into a trip. In a field made up largely of speeds and unproven turf sprinters he stands out (1).
THE PLAY: 3, 4, 5, 9, 11, 12 / 4, 6, 7, 8, 10, 12, 13 / 2, 3, 8, 6, 7 / 5, 9 / 6 = 420 Combinations ($210 Ticket)
THE BANKROLL: $1,712.65 through Sunday, August 29 (Starting Bankroll $5,000)
